Decadal Micro-Topographic Change in Tundra Near Point Barrow, Alaska

Results: The relative range in elevation for the IBP Topographical Grid in 1973 was 1.72 m, with the maximum elevation being 1.72 m and the minimum elevation being 0 m, (Figs. 2 and 4). The relative range for 2001 was 1.44 m, with the maximum elevation being 1.19 m, and the minimum elevation being 0.25 m, (Figs. 3 and 5).

The relative range in elevation for the Micro Topographical Grid in 1973 was 37.5 cm, with the maximum elevation being 9.2 cm and the minimum elevation being 28.3 cm, (Figs. 6 and 6). The relative range for 2001 was 45 cm, with the maximum elevation being 10 cm and the minimum elevation being 35 cm, (Figs. 7 and 9).
