Acquisition of high-resolution imagery and terrain model for collaborative research of environmental change at Barrow, Alaska.

Collaborators:
Bill Manley and Jim Maslanik - University of Colorado - Boulder, CO.

This collaborative effort is underway to create and distribute high-quality spatial datasets for the Barrow area, northernmost Alaska. The spatial data include: Orthorectified Radar Imagery (ORRI, 1.25 m pixels), a Digital Elevation Model (DEM, 5 m grid cells), QuickBird satellite imagery (70 cm panchromatic; 2.8 m multispectral), and time-series air-photo mosaics. The imagery and GIS layers will promote interdisciplinary research of environmental change.
