The computational Ecology and Visualization Laboratory (CEVL), located in 209 Manly Miles Building, was established in 1998 to facilitate the linkage between ecology and computational technology. Our goal is to encourage faculty and students to discuss, initiate research and develop applications to enhance our understanding of the dynamics of ecological phenomena at large scales. Our laboratory facilities enable faculty and students to use mathematical models, conduct spatial analysis and develop visualization systems to address local, regional and global ecological issues.
