COURSE EVALUATION

Individual assignment (25%)
: Each student will work on an individual 5-page assignment linking one organism to the Biosphere. Students will apply the concepts learned in class and search for additional information at the library. To facilitate the comprehension and organization of the information, the entire class will be organized in teams. Each team will have organisms representing different functional groups. To provide a framework for the project, each team will select a specific biome/ecosystem.

Three Exams (75%)

Class discussions. The learning process in interdisciplinary courses is bidirectional, in which you as a student play an active role contributing to the class with your point of view. Your point of view is always very valuable, but especially in courses like this due to the richness of student’s background. We want to provide a space for you to express your opinions on the different topics we will cover during the course. We have scheduled some sessions to discuss issues related to the themes taught so far.
