The CEVL in conjunction with the Basic Science and Remote Sensing Initiative
(BSRSI) are currently involved in developing a University-wide program that
will be nationally and internationally recognized as an interdisciplinary
Signature Program on Land Use and Land Cover Change Research. This will
serve to stimulate excellence in teaching and outreach within Michigan and
beyond. The program involves the organization of symposia and workshops,
research proposal development in a System Synergism Center and support for
inbound sabbaticals for those with expertise in Land Use and Land Cover
Change.
