Amos Ziegler

Areas of Specialization:
Primary responsibilities include project management, acquisition and processing of digital cartographic and
remote sensing data, implementation of GIS in support of laboratory projects, and the development and
administration of relational databases. Further responsibilities involve the development of current and
future hardware/software integration strategies, purchasing hardware and software, and the design and
administration of a UNIX/PC network. Secondary responsibilities include the development and maintenance of
a World-Wide Web server and other information technologies. Collaboration and consultation with a variety of
campus units on computer mapping, GIS, network, database, and information technologies are regular activities.
