Agricultural ecosystems are composed of biophysical and socio-economics systems, and are one of the main examples of human impact on the Biosphere. The drivers of agroecosystems change with the scale of the analysis. Long-term analysis is achieved by the integration of historical data and modeling. In CEVL, we are focusing primarily on the analysis of historical maize productivity patterns in the North Central Region and development of the ability to explore future scenarios using a modeling and analysis framework.
